To Be Released May 1 - Our 2021 Vintage
The 2021 vintage is truly one for the books. Bud break was slightly early, and a few rain showers in June made for a smaller than normal crop. Summer was warmer than normal, with some big heat spikes, creating concern that the small crop could become overripe. As is often the case in Oregon, however, September arrived with low overnight temperatures and warm, but not hot, days yielding grapes of exceptional balance. The wines from 2021 are fruit-driven, but with the complexity and acidity found in vintages with mild temperatures leading up to harvest.

Staying true to their winemaking roots in Burgundy, winemakers Amy Wesselman and David Autrey grow grapes and build wines with the fruit, balance, and structure to age to perfection over the course of at least a decade. Because we know most wines are consumed young, we hold back wines from each vintage and age them to perfection in our library, so wine lovers can enjoy them when they are at their best.
